The Philosophy Of Acceptism
The human mind has incredible capacity to search for things, purpose and cause behind every event that occurs but this is the same curiosity that disturbs the human mind the most as well. Mostly, we are curious to find the reason behind everything but once we get to know the cause and its not as we thought it would be, we start to excuse our own reasonings. Because sometimes the truth isn't so easy to understand, sometimes its so bitter that one thinks they had been better off living with lies instead.
The philosophy of Acceptism deals with this state of not wanting to accept the reality. Now comes the questions what is acceptism?
The path toward acceptance asks two questions: 1). Can this be changed? and
2). If the answer is no, what work needs to be done to accept this, emotional or otherwise?
When you’ve accepted something, you don’t have an outburst every time it surfaces. True acceptance only leaves room to be pleasantly surprised. Acceptance yields freedom. When your emotions are no longer at the mercy of an external (as the Stoics implores us to relinquish), you’re freed to expend energy on efforts that produce and fulfill.
The philosophy of acceptism recognizes the contradictions taking place in human mind that takes place after knowing naked facts regarding existence. Acceptism recognizes the facts of existences as what it is without any filter. At the core of acceptism, it aims to achieve a state of being in which one has complete alignment with the nature of existence, reality, and god, or in other words being in complete alignment with the nature of the infinite encompassing all. This state of being, referred to as Seinalitgott, is achieved through the process of conquering one's ego and respecting all life.
While accepting the facts and realities of existence, acceptism also encourages to seek truth and knowledge but it also understands the limitations of humans that stops us from understanding the total infinite. We can say that this term understands the saying, "The finite cannot bare the weight of the infinite. The infinite will always consume the finite that tries."
To become "Seinalitgott" or in other words "aligned with reality" in the Acceptist philosophy, it means conquering our ego and realizing that we are no more important than our fellow human beings, regardless of our position. This principle encourages us to show humility, respect and empathy towards others.
Though this philosophical idea seems perfect and altruistic in nature it is completely egoistic. Acceptism is something we do solely for ourselves but which ultimately benefits others. This term also deals with fallacies just like any other, as it shows that we should accept the reality just as it is and shouldn't try to change it, at all which will ultimately put every human in a place where they are, limiting the development.
Also, humans are not completely egoistic in nature they are more of others than of themselves thus when it comes to stop the wrong they speak up which is an ideal altruistic behavior. Hence, acceptance is a good sign if it is just about accepting the flaws and past of ourselves or others based on the changes they are trying to make to erase the mistakes but acceptance to everything such as crime and wrong doings of others or even accepting oneself as failure is a fallacy.
