Indian Education System

       Hey everyone,
I wasn't able to write anything since my exams are approaching but yeah, here is the time i got...and here is the thing i observed which is really burden some.

INDIAN EDUCATION SYSTEM: A system which only tests your memory power and not that what you understood, The system which only wants percentages and not the real employment, The system which only cares about 100% result and not about student's mental health. I still remember when i was a little kid studying in KG i was used to be such a brilliant girl who LEARNS everything but not unrerstanding it. Now, when i look back i just feels ashamed of what i was because i had just mugged up the topic, what had been happened if someone asked me the meaning. Well, i didn't care of it at that time, neither do my parents or teacher did as all they wanted were percentages and grades which i was getting. What i lacked for was, the real knowledge and real meaning of the things i was writting, of the speech i was giving and of the answers i mugged...

We all are clutched under this situation as all we do is memorization. But will it be affective? We studies in school to get knowledge, to get information, to know about different things, we don't go to school to become a well-trained parrot who memorizes everything his master ask to. We are in the great loss of our mind as it is not made for memorizing the things but to understand it and to use it practically.

Right now, am in boards, so tired of my thoeritical subjects and so i asked help of some of my teachers and friends to let me know how to learn theory. Each on of them ask me understood it well and i was simply shocked because that's not what our study system wants. However for the sake of PERCENTAGES i started understanding the concepts and writing them in my own language(by my way of understanding.), then i made them checked by some of my friends and all theu say was "IT IS NOT MATCHABLE WITH THE TEXTUAL ONE. TRY TO WRITE IN THEIR TERMS AND THEIR LANGUAGE."  I wad again left shocked as i got super confused of how to study....

Since you have came this far reading this, i want to ask you a thing "where are you using the formulae of sqares in your life?" No, am just a bit eager to know..

As am in boards, it is clearly stated in my economics textbook that INDIAN EDUCATION SYSTEM FOCUSES ON MARKS AND THAT IS WHY WE HAVE HIGH RATE OF UNEMPLOYMENT. BECAUSE AFTER PASSING THE SCHOOL THE STUDENT POSSESSES NO KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE SUBJECT AS HE HAS JUST MEMORISED IT AND NOT UNDERSTOOD IT.  Theory is not easy to memorize as we have whole some textbooks with different difinitions and different meaning we must need to understand it and to write it in the way we understood because exams are not for testing, how greatly you memorized the textbook, it is to know how greatly you knows the concept. Only when our education will understood this India will be a best place to study without the burden of percentages just with eagerness to understand.
